Outdoor Kitchens & Grills in Melissa

Melissa sits five miles down US-75 from our shop, close enough that it functions as an extension of home turf — and it's routinely ranked among the fastest-growing cities in Texas. Its subdivisions are new enough that most backyards are still the slab the builder left.

Anna to Melissa is a 5-mile run our trucks make without thinking about it; Collin County has been on our route sheets for years. The island's height, depth, and overhang decide whether the kitchen works for the person actually cooking in it. We dimension counters to the household, not to a template — a difference you feel every single time you use the space.

The base you never see decides how long a project lasts. Excavation depth, fill selection, compaction passes — the invisible half of outdoor kitchens & grills work is where budgets get quietly cut by low bidders, and it's where we refuse to cut ours.

Where a permit applies, we pull it; where an HOA reviews plans, we prepare the packet. Paperwork is part of outdoor kitchens & grills construction whether anyone enjoys it or not, and a contractor who suggests skipping it is volunteering you for the consequences.

Weather windows govern outdoor construction in Texas: pours need temperature ranges, mortar needs cure time, stain needs dry days. We sequence outdoor kitchens & grills work with the forecast instead of against it, which is why our finishes behave.

Homes in our radius run from hundred-year-old farmhouses to houses finished last month, and outdoor kitchens & grills work has to read correctly against both. Matching era is a design skill: what flatters a 1925 brick cottage would look costume on a 2024 build.
